We want to make a positive impact on the fashion industry and our planet. We make gorgeous gold jewellery an affordable luxury.
Constellations London was born in 2019 and launched to the public in August of 2020. Over a year of planning, learning and design went into its conception. We are still an entirely independently run, affordable luxury jewellery label, with our pieces now designed in-house in London, UK. Our brand fills a gap in the market between high street, fast fashion jewellery and break-the-bank expensive fine jewellery. We design, create and sell affordable 18ct gold plated sterling silver, demi-fine 18ct gold vermeil (a super thick gold plating, at least 2.5 microns of real gold) and 9ct and 14ct solid gold fine jewellery (launching very soon). We also have a small offering in 925 sterling silver for our silver girls. An integral part of our simple and clean designs is their ability to be worn alone or layered, giving you the ability to create a look truly unique to you.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We exclusively use eco-conscious packaging and give back a proportion of every sale to charity and causes close to our heart.
About Our Founder
Originally from the North-East, Bethany studied Psychology (BSc Hons) at university before leaving the UK to travel the world whilst working for three and a half years. She has since worked in the Fashion Buying industry in London. Using inspiration from her travels and the skills learnt in buying and fashion, she turned her hand to jewellery design to launch her first business. With her designs, she aspires to reimagine timeless styles you’ll still want to wear in a decade.
“Jewellery has always meant so much to me and pinpoints so many memories in my life. I have always had a love of fine jewellery, which was made even stronger when I was handed down my Granny’s solid gold jewellery as an heirloom.
I wear her pieces everywhere. I wanted to bring an essence of this to my brand but with jewellery that people could more easily afford, and would still last them years. I honestly believe that when you invest in a great piece of jewellery, you are creating a future heirloom" she shared in a statement.
Giving Back And Working Towards The UN Sustainable Development Goals
Giving back is at the core of everything we do.
We are officially partnered with When You Wish Upon A Star UK, meaning that 5% of profits from every purchase help them to grant the wishes of children living with a life-threatening illness. This means that for every £20 we make, £1 is donated.
Our passion for sustainability and protecting the planet was another huge influence over the brand. Our purpose is to do good in the world. To this end, we made a promise to only ever use FSC-certified, recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials in our business, making us 100% single-use plastic-free.
Through our incredible partner SettleUp Earth, one tree is also planted for every purchase - maintaining biodiversity and providing fair trade and gender-equal work for employees in lower-income countries.
